So yesterday was the opening of the show, and I can happily say it was a success! I just wanted to take a brief moment to thank everyone who helped out, you little creepers rock, I love you all. Also, I wanted to thank everyone who made it out last night, I appreciate it, I am sincerely thankful. High five to everyone!

If you sadly could not make it out last night, you can still have your chance, for the exhibition is run on through the new year, call to check for hours (818) 641-4369.

Nearing our exit at the end of the evening, where Ariana was waiting for the celebration drive home.

My beautiful assistant, the lottery had great feed back. We almost ran out of tickets, winners will be announced as Red Box Delivery sends the paintings out. I’d like to document the departure and possibly delivery.

So again thank you to everyone! I’ll be posting photos later this week with all the magic. Erratic Erotica series will be online for viewing later this week too, I have to find the archives of a few more of the paintings.

I'm going to be apart of a group art show next month, which will be featuring my newest series of works Erratic Erotica. The exhibition will be December 17, starting at 7:00 PM. There will be a bar where drinks will be available, a snacks and music. My original art work will be for sale, so if you're interested in taking home one of my babies make sure you bring a check book or some cash. I hope to have all my work very affordable for I wish to find my babies loving homes, I'm also going to be raffling off some of my loves, three to be precise. A lotto will be held for three lucky people to take home a original piece of art by yours truly, completely free. More info on that at a later date. For now this will be it. XoXo

Over the next few weeks, I'll be posting up new work periodically. I also have been working on the field guide, I cleaned up the past low-res photo of the painting I did previously. The field guide is basically a catalog of monsters from my work with further information of the creature. You'll notice that with new friends, shortly a new entry will be made. Entries will also be updated with time and more work, detailing more info.

New computer

So I got a new computer, its pretty snazzy. I can finally get to work again, anywhere and everywhere, because I tethered my iPhone to my Macbook, letting access internet anywhere! Cheap too, thanks to me not being with the AT&T network, and being a long time T-Mobile customer. I should have everything updated and ready by September.

Soon I shall have Internet once more, accompanied with a brand new computer. I'm scheduled to have the Internet up and running the 24th of August. So I'll have the ability to keep things up to date again. Durring the zero Internet access period I came up with a bunch of neat ideas for the site and such. And by early September I hope to have everything up, running, and current. Here's a low-res photo of a little painting I've been working on, along with works of a similar feel. I've been internet-less for over a month now.
everything is in dire need of updates.

So basically I was moving at a great pace, BUT my incompetent internet, decided to die for pretty much good. I'm actually most likely going to invest in a laptop this august, my computer decided to go to hell, and it turns out the heat produced in the caverns of hell DO melt the innards of a computer! Luckily I can get some work done via phone, and its various apps, but website maintenance and such has ceased.
Oh, by the way, a lighter note, I have a new print out at Tora, it's small and very affordable, the shipping is free too!

MAKEUP SHOW 2009 with ARIANA

Today was the day me and Ariana went down to the MAKEUP SHOW in LA.
It was pretty rad. Ariana picked up some makeup supplies, some brushes and all kinds of makeup. We had a pretty stellar time. We left early and picked up some breakfast burritos from Hole Mole on the way. We wanted to see a movie but maybe another time.

We were on the 13th floor. With two friday the thirteenths in a row behind us, I was just waiting for the building to collapse. The view was really amazing.

makeup was everywhere.

Ariana's special interest, movie monster maker. This guy was a lot creeper in person. and on their HD TV they had set up.

When we first came this girl was only half way finished, waist up and the head dress, we came back and watched him finish her, then Ariana purchased a pallet of makeup that was used. pricey stuff.

So I was playing one of the best games given to man on the Nintendo 64, The legend of Zelda Majora's mask, has to be in my top 5 favorite games of all time. I play epona's song, in the road right in front of romani ranch and im waiting for the horse.. a few seconds go by.. i hear the horse neigh, but it's no where to be found, i look around and the horse is on the freaking rock hill mountain edge thing. well anyways. this is what ive been up to the last few days, revisiting fond childhood memories.

Faces: masks

So what I plan to do with my faces series of paintings is actually compose wooden masks, of the artwork. I plan to make them from scratch, 100% all the way, right down to the carving.
When I make a new group of Faces work, I'll include a mask too. Ill probably be selling some of my older work soon, I have a closet full of things I'm willing to part with.

Botany, the study of plants, a name chosen for my next course of work to do exactly as defined, I want to go into further development with my creets. A creet is a vine like creature that was recently born within my sketchbook the last month or so. The idea was sketched out and was later cleaned and aproved upon. I have posted my first of the series of painting on my site, I will post more with the weeks to come.
